Women's Health
Dr Sujatha R Swaminathan is an Australian qualified GP who is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She also has overseas qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynecology making women’s wellness her prime focus. Her keen interests include the following:
• Breast examination for screening of breast cancers
• Pap smears for screening of cervical cancer
• STI screening/ Sexual health
• Contraceptive advice and implanon insertion & removal
• Pregnancy advice/ Shared Antenatal care
• Menopause related issues
• Sexual Health and culturally sensitive matters
Chronic Disease Management
We provide and manage conditions appropriately and coordinate well with other health providers in an effective way in order to improve the quality of life. We do this through GP management plans and can advice if our patients need one.
Aged and Geriatric Care
We make elderly patients comfortable by our friendly approach and take care of them by both medically and personally. All geriatric conditions such as dementia, arthritis and other old age issues care taken care of in a better way. We do have lots of disabled parking and disabled friendly access available for our elderly patients.
Mental Health
We take care of your mental health which is very much needed in today’s stressful life. We provide Mental health care plan and psychology assessments for patients in need and manage range of mental health conditions.
Vaccinations
We provide childhood vaccinations, Flu vaccine and Travel vaccines.
Minor Procedures
Our Practice has a modern procedure room with latest equipments and we provide minor procedures like Implanon insertions and removal, ECG’s, Wound dressings, Ear syringing along with the removal of Skin lesions.
Work cover/ Pre-employment Assessment
We treat workplace injuries and provide work cover assessments. Injured patient returning to work quickly is our priority. We also provide pre-employment medical assessments.
Indigenous Health
We appreciate the unique needs of Aboriginal people and provide assessments and manage their issues. We offer closing the gap registration and coordinate with aboriginal health workers if necessary.
